Today, Andy and I visited the village of Olden, Norway. There are only 700 people living in this town which is about the same as the number of students that go to McKinley School! To get to the shore from our ship, we had to take small boats called tenders. Here is Andy posing with a tender boat.
We went on a boat ride in Lake Lovatnet and traveled to the end of the lake to visit Kjenndalen Glacier. While on the lake, we were able to take pictures of several glaciers, waterfalls, and huge mountains. Here are some of the things we saw.
Once we docked the boat at the end of the lake, we hiked up to Kjenndalen Glacier. We were able to get close, but we did not go on the glacier because it is not safe. Here are some pictures of the glacier.
Tomorrow, we are visiting the towns of Hellesylt and Geiranger which are the furthest north in Norway that we will travel. If you have any questions or would like to say hi to me or Andy, ask your parents and then leave us a comment. Remember, you do not need to leave an email address or a website, just your first name and your comment. Thanks to everyone that has stopped by and said hi! See you soon! From, Ms. Adams and Andy
